Today in class, we began exploring heat transfer within the atmosphere. Please review the definitions of the terms conduction, convection, and radiation. We also began the heat transfer labs, which we will continue working on tomorrow.

Happy Leap Day!
Today in class, we continued our discussion of the greenhouse effect and climate change. For homework, please complete the following:
Visit this site: http://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/
On looseleaf, list and explain at least two pieces of evidence that support the idea that climate change is occurring.
Then, visit this site: http://climate.nasa.gov/effects/
On the same piece of looseleaf, list and explain at least two potential effects of climate change.
Also, be sure to check engrade as I will be sending out progress reports later this week. Make sure you submit any missing assignments as soon as possible.

For homework, please complete the entire lab, chapters 1, 2, and 3, including all questions, the graph, readings etc. Please email me through Engrade with any questions. The entire lab is due Monday after break.
